I would recommend Mohsen and Maki Remodeling without reservation. They are honest, responsible, and high quality. Mohsen reconstructed our house from the inside, replacing all plumbing, electrical, and heating/cooling systems. Behind the walls, quality materials were used. For example, dual use of foam and fiberglass insulation sealed our house and makes it more energy efficient. The work that one can see also cannot be praise enough. Mohsen replaced and improved architectural details from the 1920s when the house was built, such as crown molding and coffered ceilings. Finally, Mohsen made the process easy and enjoyable. No plan is perfect, so I appreciated a general contractor who brought ideas to the project and reasonably addressed issues that arise when one starts looking behind walls and underneath floors. |

These guys are hands down THE BEST YOU WILL FIND in home remodeling! Prior to finding them, we had used others who were always a problem, either in the work they did, the length of time they took, or the extra costs they eventually tried to charge us. Maki has always offered us a very fair, competitive price, has always been punctual and communicative, and has done absolutely superb work in everything they have done for us, in addition to standing by that work 100%. They have also offered us excellent advice about remodeling details, including selecting the best value in materials we had to purchase. They also made excellent, tasteful recommendations in choices that were of a more subjective, artistic nature. Above and beyond all this, they are very ethical. They have stuck to agreed-upon labor prices, even when the work that they ended up having to do went far beyond what they or we had anticipated. Most importantly, they have proven their high integrity. When there was an issue due to a manufacturing problem that wasn't their fault, but that resulted in a high cost to remedy, they didn't hesitate to do the right thing by us, where other contractors would have bolted, or would have tried to charge us much more. In dealing with contractors over more than a decade, we have never known such honest, hard-working, and expert home remodeling artisans. We cannot recommend them enough, and would be happy to speak with any of their prospective clients.
